For the 17th year, the Cleveland State University Dance Program, with support from the Ohio Arts Council, sponsored Saturday in the Studio, a unique opportunity for people of varied ages to participate in creative dance experiences. This program offers Creative Dance Class for Cleveland School children and an accompanying adult on Saturday mornings. Creative Dance is an introduction to dance movement vocabulary, allowing freedom for exploration and individuality. Participants explored diverse styles of dance movement from many cultures with a variety of rhythms, tempos, qualities and purposes.
