Final Self-Study Report Chapter 5: 15 Aug 2000
Cleveland State University meets Criterion 4. The University will continue to accomplish its purposes and strengthen its educational effectiveness through planning processes that link planning and budgeting with the goals and objectives of the Functional Mission Statement. The planning processes are broad and inclusive, and permit the flexibility needed to adapt to changing circumstances and emerging needs in the community and region. The University has dealt creatively with its fiscal challenges and has been able to reallocate several million dollars to fund its planning priorities while continuing to maintain quality programming and services. Implementing the new administrative system has presented unusual challenges to which the University has responded by reorganizing the projects management and finding the funds to complete the task.
