Student Spotlight:
COEHS STUDENT AMY SALZMAN NAMED STUDENT EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Student Employee of the Year Amy Salzman! She was nominated by her supervisors in the College of Education and Human Services’ Department of Teacher Education, and will receive a book scholarship at the Student Life Awards and Recognition ceremony next month.
Each year, the Student Employment Office invites nominations for the Student Employee of the Year. Nominees are evaluated on their reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism and uniqueness of their contributions.
This academic year, 1,479 students are employed at the University. In addition to earning money and gaining valuable work experience, student employees say they develop computer, communication, customer service and problem-solving skills through their employment.
