You are cordially invited to attend the “Distinguished Speaker Series in Literacy” on Monday, March 3, 2008 from 5:00-7:00 p.m . The event—part of the College of Education and Human Services 40 th Anniversary Celebration—will be held in Panel Hall in Fenn Tower , Room 302/303 . We encourage you and your students to attend this special presentation. Our featured speaker is distinguished educator, Dr. Patricia Edwards from Michigan State University . Dr. Edwards will present “ The Education of African-American Children: Voicing the Debates, Controversies and Solutions” .
Refreshments will be available from 5:00-5:30 p.m. and the program will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.
