Angels in America and Tale of a West Texas Marsupial Girl

Dual Auditions – Monday, December 1, 2014 and Tuesday, December 2, 2014

6:00 – 8:30 pm both nights; (Callbacks Wednesday, December 3 by invitation only)

Angels… Audition spots are available in 5-minute blocks beginning at 6:00pm both nights

PREPARATION: Please prepare a contemporary, dramatic monologue – please try to keep your actual piece between 2 and 4 minutes in length; this is a dramatic play, so a monologue that shows vulnerability is a good choice; pieces from the play are acceptable

  • Callbacks will be by invitation only on Wednesday, December 3 from 7:30 - 9:30 pm
    (sides will be made available at that time)

Marsupial

TALE OF A WEST TEXAS MARSUPIAL GIRL:

Marsupial… Audition spots are available in 20-minute blocks beginning at 6:00 pm both nights

Auditions will occur in groups of 6 and involve movement, improv and singing; Holly will provide a monologue and scene for the actual audition, please be prepped to sing during these exercises; if you play an instrument, please bring it to showcase your skills

  • Callbacks will be by invitation only on Wednesday, December 3 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CASTING:

  • Majors and Minors must not be more than a semester behind on their service hours
  • All students must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Continuing Acting Track majors are required to audition for each theatre production
  • Incoming majors are strongly encouraged to audition
  • If special circumstances will prevent a major from fully participating in a show’s rehearsal and production schedule, permission must be obtained from a full time faculty member to audition “for experience only”
