Social Work at Cleveland State University

 The field of Social Work — offers a variety of opportunities, depending on your interests.    
You can work in hospitals, nursing homes, governmental agencies, schools,  mental health centers, home care agencies, and rehabilitation agencies. The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics shows social work is one of the nation’s fastest growing careers, and the need for social work services is expected to increase 30 percent in 2010.

 Consider majoring in Social Work if you — genuinely like people, believe they can change, and have good skills in communication and personal interaction.

 Social Work major — qualify to take the Social Work Licensure Exam.
Most social work positions require a degree in social work and state licensure.
