We are happy to announce this year’s Cleveland State University Poetry Center First Book and Open Competition Results. Over 500 manuscripts were submitted to our two contests, each of which awards publication and a $1000 prize.

Cleveland State University Poetry Center was originally established in 1962 at the former Fenn College of Engineering to promote poetry through readings and community outreach. In 1971, it expanded its mission to become a national non-profit independent poetry press under the auspices of the Cleveland State University Department of English, and has since published over one-hundred-fifty titles.  Read more.
