Tom Lempner earned a Masters of Music degree at Kent State University and a double
Bachelors degree in Music Performance and Music Therapy at the Conservatory of Music
at Baldwin-Wallace College, and he also earned a diploma from the Armed Forces School of Music,
Little Creek, VA. Tom currently serves on the music faculty at Kent State University (Geauga campus),
Western Reserve Academy, and will begin teaching at Cleveland State University in fall 2011.
He also works as a full-time Music Therapist for PEP (Positive Education Program) and performs with Cleveland Winds,
Transportation Boulevard Jazz Quintet, Trepanning Trio, Neo-Tessares Saxophone Quartet, NEO Dixie, and Freedom Jazz
Collective. He credits his accomplishments to formal studies with Greg Banaszak, Chas Baker, and Dwight Oltman.
