Art Klima, adjunct professor of viola, has been a member of the Cleveland Orchestra since 1977. He studied at the University of Illinois and at Yale where his teachers included Walter Trampler, Broadus Erie, Paul Rolland, John Garvey, and Aldo Parisot. Mr. Klima was a member of the Baltimore Symphony for five years before joining the Cleveland Orchestra in 1977. In addition to his orchestral activities, he has taught, performed in solo and chamber programs, and arranged works for viola.
