The Miraculous Mozart

Music as deeply affecting today as it was when Mozart wrote it. Program includes the A Minor Piano Sonata, written after the death of the composer’s mother; the intimate, soulful B Minor Adagio; and the festive “Trumpet” Sonata in D––works of dramatic power, touching lyricism, and buoyant humor.

The Cleveland Winds is a professional-quality wind ensemble based at Cleveland State University. The ensemble roster includes many of the best musicians in the Cleveland area, including professional performers, music educators, and exceptional amateur musicians. The Cleveland Winds provides world-class performances of the wind ensemble masterworks for the sophisticated music listeners in Northeast Ohio, and offers these performances at little or no cost to local student musicians.
