A note from Imagination Conference Director, Imad Rahman:

Dear Writers,

If you haven't yet registered for the 2013 Imagination Writers Conference at CSU, there's still time! This year's conference is set for June 18-22, and the official application deadline has been pushed back from June 1 to June 7. We always love returning participants.

This year promises to be just as exciting and dynamic as years' past. We've got fiction writers Dan Chaon, Lynda Barry, Hannah Tinti, John McNally coming, along with nonfiction writer Elizabeth Kadetsky and poets Michael Dumanis and Monica Ferrell. (Check out their bios here.) Not only will you get an intensive, intimate workshop; you'll also get to speak and consult with visiting writers and publishing professionals about your manuscripts and the writing life. If you've participated before, you know that Imagination is a tremendous chance to get your work in front of new, highly connected eyeballs.

This year, as an added bonus, Dan Chaon & Lynda Barry will be co-teaching a generative workshop, where you will workshop only work that you create, via a series of stimulating prompts, within the workshop during conference time (& as homework), while Hannah Tinti & John McNally will teach traditional manuscript workshops where you workshop the piece(s) you applied with. Our nonfiction & poetry workshops will also be traditional workshops.

All best, and we look forward to seeing your work.
