Interdisciplinary Programs Office

Interdisciplinary programs of study integrate knowledge across a central theme or focus. A study program is derived from several traditional areas of study. Students develop enhanced critical thinking ability and metacognitive skills (knowledge about your own thoughts and the factors that influence your thinking). Interdisciplinary programs provide a thorough preparation for post-graduate study or many of today's challenging career opportunities.

Cleveland State University offers numerous interdisciplinary programs of study. Our office supports the interdisciplinary programs offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Feel free to contact us regarding any of these programs and their related issues.
