Pilgrims arrive to visit Yugyoji (a renowned Buddhist temple founded in 1325 located on the hillside overlooking the village) or the Enoshima Benten Jinja, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the Goddess of Music located beyond the torii gateway in the foreground.
