Hoops
clinic returns
By Audra I. Stephen
Cleveland State basketball will host its second basketball clinic April
9 at the Wolstein Center.
The clinic is designed to teach campers on all facets of the game and
work one-on-one with the coaching staff from CSU.
The campers will learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting
and individual and team defenses.
They will receive a character building lecture by the Vikings Head
Coach Gary Waters.
We really are trying to increase the number to 100 kids. We went
out and hand delivered the flyers, Kimbrough said.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the clinic will run from 9 a.m.-4:30
p.m.
The cost is $75 per person and is open to students, kindergarten through
eighth grade.
Free T-shirts and contest-awards will be given out.
All applications must be returned by April 8 with the full payment
and can be found on the Vikings home page at www.csuvikings.com.
Summer Individual Camps will be held from June 17 to June 20 and July
29 to Aug. 1.
