Traditionally, art is thought of in terms of painting, drawing and sculpture. But the pieces currently exhibited at Cleveland State’s Art Gallery paint a much broader world of art encompassing materials ranging from oven knobs to fabric remnants.


Writings bring hope to tsunami survivors
Murali D. Nair, associate professor in social work traveled with a few Cleveland State University students to the small fishing community, not only for research but also to give hope to the victims.

Unique art show opens
The 2005 show focuses on crafts, which is very different from typical gallery fare as well as the CSU Art Gallery’s first two exhibitions, which featured painting, sculpture, photography, and digital media.
