Volleyball splits weekend series
Nov. 5 was Senior Day and the stage was set for a dreamlike home-schedule conclusion to what has been a magnificent season for the CSU volleyball team and its six seniors.

Garland ends curse
On the first day of basketball practice last month, third-year head coach Mike Garland, surrounded by former Cleveland State University players and current players standing around center court, picked up a sledgehammer and crushed eight concrete bricks to end the curse surrounding the men’s basketball program.

Women's basketball defeat Mercyhurst
Cleveland State University's women's basketball team held off a late rally by Mercyhurst College to hold onto a 61-58 exhibition victory last monday.
