Police Report: Break-ins top list of crimes

Week of 7/4
A cordless drill was taken from a construction truck and several vehicles were broken into in Lot O.

A thief was caught inside a vehicle in AA Lot. The owner of the vehicle arrived to find the suspect holding her house keys. The thief was arrested.

A camcorder was taken from Stilwell Hall.

A person was arrested in D Lot for criminal trespassing and having an open container.

A Honda Accord was stolen from the West Garage.

A vehicle was broken into in the University Parking Facility. A baseball glove, CDs, and Walkman was stolen.

There was a car accident in V Lot near Howell mansion. A car crashed into a fence and a light post fell on top of the car. The driver was taken to the hospital with an injury.

A MP3 player was stolen from a car break-in that occurred in the West Garage.

In KK Lot a car stereo was taken from a car.

Week of 7/11
A person was caught in the Business College trying to break in to a faculty member’s office while it was occupied. The suspect was arrested and police found a blank personal check of a different faculty member on him.

A personal laptop was stolen from a vehicle parked in the UPF Garage.

A female hygiene dispenser was ripped off the wall in bathroom of the Call Center Building.

A personal laptop was stolen from a car located in the T Lot.
