University programs featured on Channel 25 July 7 and July10 Faculty and staff receive free entry at HealthSpace Cleveland CSU's sports clinics continue in July with special guest instructors University programs featured on Channel 25 July 7 and July10 CSU will be featured on WVIZ Ideastream July 7 at 8 p.m. and July 10 at 11 a.m. in a story about opportunities for women in science. The story will cover the Fenn College of Engineering’s fuel cell summer for female high school students.
Faculty and staff receive free entry at HealthSpace Cleveland HealthSpace Cleveland, 8911 Euclid Avenue, will offer free admission July 16 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to CSU faculty, staff and their families. Must have CSU ID and proof of employment. “Genome: The Secret of How Life Works” is the featured exhibit.
CSU's sports clinics continue in July with special guest instructors CSU welcomes Olympians to the wrestling team’s summer camp July 5 through 9 and the softball team’s softball fastpitch clinic on July 19 at Jacobs Field. The men’s and women’s tennis teams will host summer camp from July 11 to 15. (Information provided by Laura Mills)
Holidays established for university offices Cleveland State University will observe the following holidays this fall: Labor Day, Sept. 5; Columbus Day, Oct. 10; Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11; Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24; Christmas Day, Dec. 26. No classes will be held on Veterans’ Day Nov. 11, but offices will be open. The university will also be closed on Nov. 25 for the Thanksgiving observance. Hours for the University Library and the law library will be provided by those institutions.
Insert Event Text Here University convocation planned for this fall Opening convocation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29 between noon and 1 p.m. in Waetjen Auditorium in the Music and Communication Building. The common hour event will include recognition of distiquished service awards to the university and the president’s “State of the University” speech.
