9th Annual Diversity Conference proposal deadline Sept. 15 1
9th Annual Diversity Conference proposal deadline Sept. 15 The Cleveland State University Office of Minority Affairs and Community Relations will hold its Ninth Annual Diversity Conference titled, “Access, Equity and Student Achievement in Higher Education,” Friday, Nov. 14 at the Cole Center for Continuing Education. This year’s topics include: affirmative action, admissions, college preparedness, racial identity and achievement and more.
The new Café 101 (formerly Panini’s) is now open in the lower level of the University Center. The Café 101 offers new menu items like Euro grilled sandwiches, fresh salads and soups and old favorites like pizza and fresh-cut fries
New parking lot on East 18th Street The T Lot is now open for those students who still struggle to find campus parking. The T Lot is located on the north side of Chester between East 17th Street and East 18th Street. Parking Services has also leased 125 parking spots in the Hanna parking garage located at East 14th Street and Prospect Avenue.
Jazz concert planned for Oct. 5 The CSU Communication Alumni Chapter will meet to attend the Sundown Jazz Concert on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. Admission is free. For reservations, call Eleanor at (216) 687-5065.

CSU night at Jacobs Field scheduled for Sept. 18 Thursday, Sept. 18 is Cleveland State University Night at Jacobs Field. Join your fellow Vikings as they watch the Indians take on the Kansas City Royals. Bleacher tickets are $6 and lower-box seats are $12.50. All campus data communications, dial-in services and web functionality will be out of service from Friday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. to Saturday, Sept. 13 at 8 a.m., as the CSU computer network makes major updates to the network in order to increase data transfer speeds and improve network reliability.
Cleveland Marshall sponsors 'Rape, Sexual Assault and the Twilight Zone: When Sex is Unwanted but not Illegal' Tuesday, Sept. 16 Cleveland Marshall Law School will sponsor a program, “Rape, Sexual Assault and the Twilight Zone: When Sex is unwanted but not illegal.” Speakers will include New York University professors of law, Stephen J.
