Pair of Vikings earn league honors
Senior left fielder Michelle Beightol earned Horizon League Softball Player of the Week honors. Beightol previously garnered the award during her sophomore season and shares it this time with Illinois-Chicago’s Cameron Astiazaran. The recognition for the week of April 12-18 comes on the heels of sophomore teammate Grace Luginbuhl being named the Pitcher of the Week last Monday.
