Dr. Thomas Patterson, the Bradlee Professor of Government and Press at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, addressed CSU students on April 19 on the issue of journalism and politics. Patterson discussed the role of journalists, past and present, in the political process and in influencing voters. Patterson also touched on the growing trend of voter apathy and the lack of participation in the political process by American citizens.
