The Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Studies building, which opened in 2000, is CSU's newest campus building. Learn more about the history of CSU, the American university, and how CSU compares with other U.S. academic institutions in this special section by the advanced reporting class in the communication department.

As the College of Arts and Sciences at CSU discusses possible changes in its structure, an examination of the history of the university, the history of CSU and the organization of other schools seemed a worthy project. Students in Com 326: Advanced Reporting, taught by Dr. Leo Jeffres, prepared these stories. See special section in Highlights
