Protesters gather in UC
One hundred fifty protesters gathered in the UC Friday, March 14.

During investigation, the officers learned that the people were there to register for a bus trip to Washington (to protest the war in Iraq.) When the spokesperson could not be found, the people were advised to leave. A flier was found in the investigation that said, “No war on Iraq. Emergency convergence in the White House. Organized by A.N.-S.W.E.R. and United for Peace Justice.”

Man arrested in MC
A man was arrested in the Main Classroom Building, he had two active felony warrants. The individual, suspected of using drugs, was incarcerated by an officer for violating parole. A non-CSU affiliate, the arrestee was a known suspect in several campus thefts.

Parking incident reported
The Parking Department reported a parking lot employee car was damaged. The incident is under investigation. No one was injured in the incident.

Property defaced
A committee member of an organization that provides information about safe sex and HIV on campus submitted a report of defaced property. The Parking Department reported a parking lot employee car was damaged. The incident is under investigation. No one was injured in the incident.
