MBA programs at CSU

CSU’s College of Business is sponsoring five spring open houses for people who want to find out how to get their Master’s of Business Administration from CSU.

Learn about full-time, part-time, evening, weekend, and off-campus courses at different locations. Information sessions began Wednesday, April 2, and they will continue through Thursday, May 1, at various days and times.

Lecture about life after the war

On Tuesday, April 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in MC 202, the political science department will sponsor a lecture titled, “After the War: The U.S., Iraq, and the Middle East, in the Post-Hussein Era.” Dr. Richard Hermann, professor of political science at Ohio State University and director of the Mershon Center, will present the lecture. The presentation is free and open to the public. For more information call the political science department at 216-687-4541.

The EDGE hosts exhibition

The EDGE Lutheran Campus Ministry and Art Gallery will present an exhibition called “From our Hearts and Minds.” The opening reception is Friday, April 11, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at 1844 Euclid Ave. The exhibit will be on display from April 11 to May 9. The hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CSU hosts Sundown Jazz Concert

CSU’s music department will host a Sundown Jazz concert featuring music from Al Krasel and Mike Murray, Sunday, April 13 at 4 p.m. in the Music and Communication Building at Drinko Recital Hall.

Clarinet recital at CSU

Students of CSU Professor Theodore Johnson will present a clarinet recital, Monday, April 14, 2003 at 7 p.m. in Drinko Recital Hall in the Music and Communication building.

Trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico

CSU Black Alumni Organization is offering a five-day trip to Playa del Carmen, a new beach resort near Cancun, and Cozumel, Mexico, from Sunday, June 22 through Thursday, June 26.

The trip to Playa del Carmen is open to students and the community. The trip is an all-inclusive package that includes round-trip airfare from Cleveland, hotel / airport transfers, four night accommodations, hotel meals, beverages, and more.

Music and poetry at The EDGE

The EDGE will host its first coffeehouse Friday, April 4, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Featured artist is Pulitzer Prize nominated poet, and CSU graduate, Dr. David Craig. Students will perform live music, poetry, drama and mime. Refreshment are available. Admission is free.
