On May 31, CSU Police Lt. Nathan Cabot responded to a car owner’s complaint that his vehicle was damaged by a contractor painting near the Chester Building. Cabot noted that approximately 15 to 20 cars were inadvertently sprayed when heavy winds had blown the paint over the parked cars.

Damage was estimated at approximately $150 to $200 per vehicle. Cabot noted that the assistant superintendent of CSU physical plant has worked out an agreement with the contractor’s insurance wherein the vehicles will be cleaned.
