La Sierra field station was hit directly by Hurricane Iris on Oct. 8. With winds up to speeds of 145 mph, the station was lucky to only have just minor damages. Twisted trees are shown above along with only a damaged roof.
Hurricane hits home for 4 CSU students
Four Cleveland State University students’ lives changed on Oct. 8. Although the majority of the news lately is what’s going on in Afghanistan, their main concern became whether their families are alive.
