Catherine Archer (above the banned book display), who is the general books manager of the university bookstore said, "Each year the Cleveland State University bookstore puts out a display of books that were banned from a school, library, or bookstores."

The Banned Books Week happens each year from Sept. 22 to the 29, but the display was continued because of the events that went on in September.

Many of the books were on display, among the list there are classics such as "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," "Death of a Salesman," "Flowers for Algernon," and much more.

Tim Higgins, director of trade books, said in a commentary about Banned Books Week, that booksellers take a week to recognize one of the most cherished rights Americans have and must occasionally defend.
