Help desk has new name

The IS&T Help Desk was transformed into IS&T Support Services on Feb. 25.

The call center processes all incoming requests, categorizes and prioritizes requests and solves the more routine problems.

The call center is now using an automated call distribution system that feeds callers to the call center staff. If call volume is too high and staff members don’t get to a caller within 10 minutes, the caller will be forwarded to a voicemail where they can leave a detailed message. A staff member will call back to confirm the request.

Standard Call Center hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday.

The IS&T Support Services can still be reached at (216) 687-5050 or at its new location at RT1104.
