Athletic office yanks games By Ryan Byers The games have come to an end, at least for the athletes playing computer games in the athletic study hall. This semester Mark Geffert, the athletic counselor, decided to take the computer games off the computers in study hall. According to Geffert, the game privileges have been taken away from the athletes mainly because some of the student-athletes spent most of their time playing the games, instead of doing their work. The athletic study hall is located on the third floor of the Physical Education Building. All athletes who are freshman, or who are under the required grade point average standard of 2.0 must spend 12 hours a week in the study hall. It has not yet been determined whether the athletes will be allowed
to play computer games in the study hall again.
