Arrested thief tops CSU's police blotter



Missing Equipment
Unit 36 took a report on Oct. 17, 11:02 p.m., in the University Center about miscellaneous items stolen from the student organi-zation room.
The items included a tablecloth, bulletin board support and plastic cups. The items were valued at $70. No one was arrested in connection with the theft.

Car stolen
A car was stolen from the Z-lot on Prospect Avenue. Unit 36 took the report on Oct. 6, at 11 p.m. A student who resides on campus called police and reported that her car was missing. A pair of Oakley sunglasses and pants both valued at $140 are also missing. No one has been charged with the theft.

Bookstore accident
On Oct. 6, 4:13 p.m., Unit 12 took a report concerning a fire in the bookstore. An air-handling unit on the roof of the bookstore malfunctioned creating a smoky smell in the front half of the building. It was found that no foul play was involved and that the machine had malfunctioned.

Car damaged
Unit 15 filed a report concerning damage to a vehicle in KK-lot. The incident occurred on Oct. 9, 7:44 p.m.
No one has been arrested or charged. Police are investigating.

Police arrest thief
Police arrested a non-CSU individual in Z-lot on Oct. 9, 7:59 p.m. The person was arrested for theft. Police are still investigating the incident and no names are available at this time concerning the individual.
