Stolen items top list for September


Backpack stolen
On Sept. 5, Unit 41 took a report on a student regarding the theft of the student’s backpack. The report was taken around 6 p.m. in the physical education department. There were four items stolen. The items stolen were a backpack, cellular telephone, a pager, and $120 in cash. The items are valued at $500.

Counterfeit money
Counterfeit money was passed at the Bursar’s Office in the University Center. Unit 25 made the report concerning the incident at 4 p.m. on Sept. 7. There are no details concerning how much was passed, or who the assailant was.

Equipment stolen
Unit 36 made a report about equipment being stolen from the Convocation Center. The report was made Sept. 12, at 5:50 p.m. No one was charged in the incident.

Bookstore shoplifting
Unit 24 made a report involving a male shoplifting in the bookstore. There are no details as to what was taken and the value of the item(s). The shoplifting occurred on Sept. 14, at noon.

Auto accident
Cleveland State police assisted Cleveland Police with an auto accident on East 21st Street and Chester Avenue. Unit 41 took the report at 5:05 p.m. on Sept. 5.
