Art exhibition and sale to benefit charitable foundation The Robert F. Busbey Charitable Foundation will be holding an art exhibition and sale of Bob Busbey's paintings. The sale will take place in the University Center, Room 363, on Friday, Dec. 8, 11-2 p.m., Sat., Dec. 9, 10-4 p.m., Dec. 10, 11-3 p.m. Parking will be available in the visitor's parking lot located under the UC building. Refreshments will be provided. Faculty and student pottery sale set for Dec. 7-9 The semi-annual Starving Artist sale of pottery by Cleveland State University art faculty and students will be held December 7-9, 10-5 p.m., in the CSU ceramics studio. The studio is located in the University Hall Annex building, 2506 Chester Avenue. The large scale pottery sale will exhibit signed originals in pottery and ceramics as well as works in stoneware and porcelain. Sundown Jazz Series features tenor saxophonist Sullivan The Cleveland State University will present the next Sundown Jazz Series concert on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. in Drinko Recital Hall in the Cleveland State Music and Communication building, 2001 Euclid Avenue. The building is located at the corner of Euclid Avenue and East 21st Street. The concert will feature tenor saxophonist "Buddy" Sullivan. The Sundown Jazz concerts are free and open to the public. Parking will be available in the garage on the corner of Chester Avenue and East 21st Street. For more information, call the Department of Music at 216-687-5100. Mather Mansion reception will honor Alice Reviere Smith for service Cleveland State University Library will hold a reception in honor of Alice Reviere Smith. Smith is retiring after almost 30 years of employment at CSU as the Black Studies and Women's Studies Librarian. The reception will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12 on the first floor of the Mather Mansion. It will begin at 3 p.m. and end around 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 3:30 p.m. Cleveland State University Library welcomes the entire campus community to join the reception. Please respond by calling 216-687-2475. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is in need of campus tour guides. The office provides campus tours to prospective students every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1:30 p.m. as well as the first Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. The office is in need of two junior or senior tour guides. They must have a positive feeling about CSU and enjoy speaking with prospective students and their families. The students at 89.3 WCSB, invite all who pledged their support during its annual radiothon last month to visit the station during its open house Dec. 16 and 17 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. If persons did not make a pledge last month, they may still do so during the open house. 89.3 WCSB is located in Rhodes Tower 912.
