A Bark for Help

Screaming from the area around Central Garage prompted a call to the police on Jan. 30 at 12:11 a.m. The screaming turned out to be a professor, who had been out walking his two dogs when one of the dogs managed to get loose. The dog was eventually located on East 21st Street.

Shoes on the Run

A Cleveland State student was at the recreation center on Jan. 25 when someone stole his pair of LeBron Zoom Soldier IX shoes. The incident was called in on Jan. 30 and police apprehended the offender and returned the shoes.

Window Pain

A student parked in lot 54 on Feb. 1 when he found the driver side window and damage to the paint on the driver side of his car. Police arrested a suspect on the charges of criminal trespass, criminal damaging/endangering, motor vehicle trespass and obstructing official business.

Planted Problem

Police referred a Cleveland State student found with a bag of marijuana inside Euclid Commons Building 2 on Jan. 28 to the student judicial following the discovery.

Smoke Scream

Dispatch received a call from a man on Jan. 28 around 4 p.m. saying the Krenzler soccer field smelled of smoke. When officers arrived they determined that a contractor nearby was working on a motor that was causing the smell.
