Sociology and Criminology Club Lecture Series

The Sociology and Crimonology club will host author Dr. Karen Becker for "Opportunities for Engaging Under-Resourced College Students" discussion on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 11:20 a.m. in MC 103.


Cleveland State’s first ever craft beer tasting event, Viketoberest, will take place on Friday, Feb. 27 from 8:30 p.m. until 9:45 p.m., directly prior to the CSU-Valparaiso men’s basketball game. Event tickets purchased before Feb. 20 cost $30. Reservations made after that date are $40. Registration fees include five samples of craft beer, heavy appetizers, a lower level game ticket, a souvenir glass and a Vikings T-shirt.


50th Anniversary Presidential Forum

A continuation of the Presidential Forum series held in honor of the University’s 50th anniversary – students, faculty and staff can join keynote speaker Lloyd G. Trotter, founder and managing partner of GenNx360 Capital Partners, for the panel discussion “From Laboratory to Wall Street: How Hopes and Dreams Enter the Marketplace.” Starting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, leaders in the innovation-driven sector will share their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities that arise when bringing new technologies to the marketplace.


39th Annual Cleveland Film Festival Preview Night

Cleveland State University and The Cleveland International Film Festival offer a preview of this year’s American and independent cinema slated to run during the 39th Annual Film Festival. The presentation will feature selected shorts and clips from several 2015 CIFF films. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 in SC 0311.
