What would you do for some Doritos?

Wednesday, Sept. 24, police were called to the Subway at 1800 Euclid Ave. in response to a report of criminal trespassing and theft.

After speaking with the manager of the store police tracked down the male suspect accused of stealing a bag of Doritios off the shelves. He was charged with two misdemeanor citations on the counts of criminal trespassing and petty theft.

Books are expensive

The evening of Wednesday, Sept. 24, police completed a theft report for a Cleveland State student at the Main Classroom Building.

The student reported having his psychology textbook stolen from a common area. The textbook was valued at approximately $215.

Macbooks are expensive too

Thursday, Sept. 25, police completed a theft report for a woman in Rhodes Tower.

The woman alleged that her Macbook Pro, valued at nearly $2,000, had been stolen from a common area. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

No charity here

The afternoon of Friday, Sept. 26, police cited an aggressive panhandler outside the Main Classroom Building.

The man was advised by an officer on patrol to leave the area, but after 15 minutes was discovered to be hassling students and pedestrians in the area. At this point police issued the man a misdemeanor citation and sent him on his way.
