Car stolen from parking lot

On Oct. 31, a Cleveland State University student parked her black 2001 Jeep Cherokee in Lot 54 at 9:45 a.m.  The student returned at 11:45 a.m. to find the vehicle missing from the lot.  Broken tinted glass, reported to match that of the vehicle by the student, was found on the ground in the area.  The Cleveland State Parking Department confirmed that the vehicle had not been towed.

Take it easy

Campus Police responded to reports of a verbal altercation in front of the Student Center at 1:30 a.m. Nov. 3 and arrested a man for aggravated disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.  The man led officers on a foot chase down Euclid Avenue and ignored warnings and verbal commands to halt before officers eventually tased and subdued the suspect.

Bus rider robbed for cell phone

A Cleveland State University student was robbed Nov. 6 when he exited an RTA bus at Euclid Avenue and East 30th Street.  The incident occurred at 5 p.m. when two teenagers snatched the student’s cell phone and fled southbound on East 30th Street.  The student was punched during the altercation but did not report any injuries.  The suspects were described as black males, 14-16 years old.  One suspect wore a gray jacket, blue jeans and brown boots and the other wore a red jacket, gray jeans, and brown boots.
