Police Blotter

By Travis Raymond

Now you see it, now you don’t

On August 25, a Cleveland State student left his gray 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass parked in the South Garage somewhere between levels 1 and 3 at 6 p.m. The student returned on August 30 to find the vehicle gone from the garage at 3 p.m. The student reported that the vehicle doors were locked, and campus police found no evidence of forced entry and no witnesses. The Cleveland State Parking Department confirmed that the vehicle had not been towed.

Problems at the Wolstein Center

On August 29 at 11:08 p.m., campus police responded to a reported assault that occurred outside the Wolstein Center. Two patrons leaving an event at the Wolstein Center reported being shoved by two men passing out flyers as they left the building. The two men passing out flyers told police they had defended themselves in response to aggression from the two patrons and their group. Campus police advised the two groups to have no further contact with each other and referred them to the City of Cleveland’s prosecutor office.

Remember

Cleveland State students never have to walk alone. For an escort to your car or to report anything unusual, call campus safety at (216)-687-2020.
