Freshman stands out, shuts out competition

After making four appearances in the Cleveland State University softball team’s opening homestand and recording three wins, Knight was named the Horizon League Player of the Week by College Sports Madness, as well as the Horizon League Pitcher of the Week by the Horizon League itself.

Wrestling omitted from Olympics

On Tuesday morning, Feb. 12 the International Olympic Committee (IOC) made the decision to exclude wrestling from the 2020 Summer Games. It came as a surprise to many because wrestling is considered to be one of the original competitive sports and one of the original Olympic sports.
