A student was assaulted by an ex-boyfriend in the Central Parking Garage on Oct 19. The victim entered her parked car and found her ex-boyfriend hiding in the back seat. The suspect started screaming at the victim and proceeded to punch her in the back of the head. A witness attempted to intervene and was confronted by the suspect. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect fled the scene.
On Oct. 10 A non-CSU affiliated person flagged down a CSU police officer to report an attempted car theft. The victim said he found a man inside his car and challenged him. The suspect exited the car after being confronted by the victim and ran. The victim chased the suspect on foot but could not catch him.
A concerned mother called CSU authorities to request a welfare check on a dorm resident on Oct. 17. The mother said that she was unable to contact the student for the past few days. The mother said the student and a roommate had recently gotten into a serious argument. Police were unable to locate the student.
