Passed-out individual sleeping on CSU lawn
An officer on patrol Friday, July 10, at 9:54 a.m. encountered a suspicious person passed out on the ground. The individual was checked for warrants and asked to leave the property.
Jehovah’s Witness injures self, refuses treatment
At 12:17 p.m. during the Jehovah’s Witnesses gathering on Sunday, July 12, a 67-year old woman experienced sudden and debilitating back pains. Emergency Medical Services was called to the scene, but, the woman refused treatment on their arrival.
CSU student robbed by seven juveniles
A group of seven juveniles accosted and robbed a 19 year-old male as he walked to his Fenn Tower residence just after 10 p.m., Monday, July 13.
The incident occurred after he left the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Carnegie Avenue and East 30th Street. No weapons were seen, and EMS was not needed.
The victim provided descriptions of the suspects to officers.
Area man arrested for theft of CSU bicycle
Police arrested an 18 year-old male at 1:16 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15. The suspect had been spotted near the physical plant, riding a bicycle with CSU plates.
Officers apprehended the individual without further incident.
Altercation breaks out at CSU recreation center
Police arrived at the CSU Rec. Center after a 31-year-old male placed a call, claiming that a 51-year-old male had following him around the court, taking basketballs from him, and being physically threatening despite repeated requests to desist.
Police received the call at 11:39 a.m., and the individuals dispersed without further incident.
