Controversy Over Where to Buy Textbooks
Some controversy that erupted over an email sent out by the Office of the Provost about textbook purchases made the beginning of the semester a little spicier.
The e-mail, sent to faculty, pertained to the agreement with the Nebraska Book Company and read, in part, “the University is contractually limited in its interactions with other bookstores or e-commerce sites…respectfully, we ask all faculty to refrain from distributing any information to students except the CSU Bookstore about where students can or should buy their textbooks.” Read More
Rough Start for CSU Men's Basketball
Going into the 2009-2010 season, Vikings Head Coach Gary Waters knew that expectations were going to be very high since he lead his team to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1986 in March of 2009.
