  • The Cleveland Stater was founded in 1999.
  • The Cleveland Stater, which is a tabloid, is published twice a month.
  • The Cleveland Stater is a laboratory newspaper produced by students enrolled in classes in the School of Communication at CSU.
  • The Cleveland Stater offers students the opportunity to improve newsgathering, editing and management skills while experiencing a fully operational newspaper.
  • The Cleveland Stater provides an opportunity for local businesses to advertise to the 16,000 students who attend CSU and the 3,000 staff members.
  • The Cleveland Stater is recognized by The Student Government Association for Excellence in News Journalism 2001-2002.

Stater staff

Most of the students who write for The Cleveland Stater are journalism majors, which in turn means you are getting hard hitting news, in-depth community coverage, and current events happening in and around the campus from students who are serious about the news they write.
