Protester
Police took a report about a protester being outside of the Euclid Building. On Sept. 10, an individual was protesting the university’s use of the PeopleSoft computer system.

Bookbag Stolen
Bookbags must be left in lockers or on shelves at the entrance to the bookstore. A report was taken concerning two students’ bookbags being stolen from the bookstore, one on Aug. 31 and another on Sept. 2.

Lobby as Shelter
A homeless male was warned and asked to leave the LS atrium on August 31. On Sept. 3, another man was found sleeping in the lobby of the Euclid Building. Police took a report and checked the individual’s record. Because the individual checked clean, a warning was issued and he was sent away.

Alarm Set-off
A new staff member at AMC was repeatedly tripping the security alarm. According to the police bulletin, the staff member had not been instructed on alarm protocol.

Parking Lot Hazards
During the first two weeks of the fall semester, campus police took nine reports of damage occurring to vehicles in various parking lots around campus. One of the reports was for a vehicle damaged by the gate arm at the E. 17th street garage.
