
The Communication Management Division conducts research and offers coursework in health communication, conflict management and mediation, intercultural/ interracial communication, and organizational effectiveness and leadership. The program acquaints students with major theories of human communication, research applications to specific contexts, and insights as to how communication can be used in more ethical ways in everyday life. The coursework will also develop skill sets key to students' career success, such as interpersonal communication competency (listening, and verbal problem solving) across various contexts, presentation skills, and skills of teamwork and negotiation.
