Community Partnership for Arts and Culture

Cleveland has an amazingly rich collection of arts and culture organizations and institutions that present high quality education programs. The Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) is a service organization centered in Cleveland, committed to building and strengthening greater Cleveland's arts and culture sector, essential components in a successful, vibrant city. CPAC brings the innovative arts and culture sector together with business and civic leaders to create supportive partnerships and build a more cohesive vision of what Cleveland is and can become. CPAC research, counsel and guidance help to advance artists, arts and culture professionals, and the arts and culture in general in our community and the region. Cuyahoga Arts and Culture

On the About Us page, we can learn the background about Cuyahoga Arts and Culture. They write: "In 2006, voters in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, approved a 10-year tax on cigarettes to support arts and culture organizations. Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, is the organization that administers those public funds by making grants to qualified organizations based in Cuyahoga County. We are one of the largest local public funders of arts and culture in the nation, investing more than $15 million each year in organizations of all sizes and disciplines."
