The Cleveland Arts Education Consortium is the community voice for better education through the arts. CAEC members present innovative research, arts education courses, professional development and the celebratory Arts Summit. Membership benefits include:
Meetings and Special Sessions
- Bi-monthly meetings and around-town network sessions with arts education colleagues and CAEC affiliates from large and small organizations
- Current Best-Practice data and Professional Development information and sessions
- CAEC led info-sharing sessions, presentations, and committee work concerning local, state and national arts education initiatives and issues, including presentations by legislators and from RAND Corporation, Ford Foundation as well as participation in the annual CSU Arts Education Summit
Listings and Networks
- Your organization’s name on the CAEC website’s Member Roster page linked to an organizational detail page with a URL link to your organization’s website and programs
- Increased community visibility through member listings and focused participation in CAEC resource guides, surveys, and general arts education information
Research and Advocacy
- Ability to participate in the CAEC member arts advocacy network
- Ability to participate in special CAEC arts education research studies and initiatives such as the Arts Audit of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and CAEC’s Smart Culture Source website for after-school arts and cultural programming for Cuyahoga youth
