Scheduled to open in January 2010 the new building for the College of Education and Human Services will be located on the north side of Euclid Avenue, to the east of Fenn Tower. The building will serve as the eastern gateway to the campus and is being designed by the architectural firm of NBBJ (see their website at http://www.nbbj.com/). The 95,000 square foot building, costing about $36 million, will be three stories tall. Its unique shape will provide garden space between it and the Health Science Building to the north, and between it and Fenn Tower to the west.

There is now a web cam aimed at our building site (at least a good portion of it). The camera is on Rhodes Tower and the view blocks out the southwest portion of the site (there is a portion of another building in the way). IS&T is trying to locate a new camera in Fenn Tower that would cover the whole site. Anyway, if you go to the URL noted below and click on the web cam for our building, you'll get the latest "shot" of the site. The photo is updated about every 4 minutes. If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, you may have to go through a process of downloading and installing an ActiveX program.
