Cleveland State, John Carroll, Case Western Reserve and Miami universities have partnered with seven area school districts to provide high-quality professional development to teachers through Partnering for Success (PFS). The project is committed to improving student learning in Mathematics and Science by providing teachers with appropriate tools and content knowledge that both expands on current practices and responds to district needs. Teachers in all institutes will focus on benchmarks from the Ohio Academic Content Standards in Mathematics and Science. PFS is a two-year initiative that includes 120 hours of professional development in the following areas:
