Educational Psychology

Program Overview

Educational Psychology focuses on the areas of Psychology that are relevant to teaching. Topics include how students learn, child and adolescent development, student motivation, the role of assessment, effective teaching strategies, teaching special needs children, cultural variations in teaching and learning, the role of identity in learning and development, and the relationship between perceptions of self and learning.
