Fitness for Life Logo

The Fitness for Life Program promotes healthy attitudes and practices by providing:

  • individual exercise recommendations based on an evaluation of your physical fitness
  • safe, supervised, group exercise geared to your physical capacities
  • access to facilities and equipment in the Physical Education Building
  • guidance to help you improve and maintain your physical condition and weight
  • instruction to help prevent exercise injuries
  • a structure for tracking your exercise participation and achievements
  • an informative newsletter and Blackboard online resources

The Fitness for Life Program provides numerous benefits. If you participate you can expect to

  • Feel and look better
  • Burn calories to help control weight
  • Enjoy yourself and have more energy
  • Improve your health and reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease
